Dramatic sunset on the Isle of Mull…

If there is one thing I am obsessed about, it is sunsets, and especially Scottish ones! During Springtime and Summertime, as the days get longer, the temperature gets warmer, there is sometime so special, poetic and magical that calls me every night to watch this living paint.

As Scotland is up North in Europe, the Summer Solstice offers daylight up to midnight at its peak and, from 4am, the morning birds start to chirp as the first glow of the day appears.

Last year in September 2018, we went to Bunessan on the Isle of Mull. We have spent two nights in a really lovely tiny wooden hut, with all the minimum (no electricity, no running water) but with comfort at its maximum.

What a pleasant time to spend there, on a quiet field, surrounded by nature and calm, to disconnect from the tumult of our lives and reconnect with our forgotten selves.

One night, we have got the surprise to witness the most spectacular sky that I have ever seen..
